Terms of Service for Mama’s Mobile
Laundry Service
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service provides service to you (“Customer”) based on your
compliance and acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth below. Customer use of any of Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service
services indicates an agreement that is bound by the Terms and Conditions set
forth below.
This
agreement is strictly between Customer and Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service and in
no way implies or constitutes an agreement with any other party. As a condition of using any service provided
by Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service, and for the mutual benefit of both Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service and Customer, the Customer agrees to the following terms
and conditions:
Customer is
responsible for all damage to clothing, cleaning machines, or anything else
when caused by any items present in the laundry bags or in clothes pockets.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service is not responsible for and shall not pay for any loss,
damage or theft of items left unattended for pick-up or delivery, whether left
by Customer or Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service is not responsible for any damage including but not limited to: tears, stitching
loosening and/or giving out, color/dye changes and/or bleeding, missing
buttons, discoloration.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service is not responsible for the normal wear and tear
associated with laundering clothes.
Customer
agrees to include only washable items
in his laundry bag. Mama’s Mobile
Laundry Service is not responsible for ‘hand wash only’ or ‘dry clean only’
articles that are placed in laundry pick-up.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service does not guarantee the removal of all stains.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service is not responsible for any items left in clothes or
laundry bags/baskets, including but not limited to jewelry, money, make up or
keys. Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service
accepts no responsibility for damage caused to Customer’s clothes due to items
remaining in pockets.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service reserves the right to refuse to launder any garment or
linen.
Due
to time constraints, Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service does not read the ‘Care
Instructions’ on each piece of clothing.
Customer must notify Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service prior to pick-up of
an item that requires special care using the Wash-Dry-Fold Inventory Form.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service is only responsible for the clothing that is on the
Wash-Dry-Fold Inventory Form found at www.mamasmobilelaundry.com. It is Customer’s responsibility to accurately
complete the Wash-Dry-Fold Inventory Form prior
to laundry pick-up. While it is not
required, Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service suggests using this form. Customer will be notified immediately of any
discrepancy that is discovered. Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service will not proceed with washing without resolving
potential discrepancy with Customer.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry asks every Customer to determine whether they can accept the loss
of any garment. If not, please keep your
item at home and do not send it with your other items to be laundered.
It
is a rare event that garments are damaged or lost. However, in this event Customer must contact
Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service within 48 hours of drop-off. After 48 hours from delivery, Mama’s Mobile
Laundry Service assumes no responsibility for damaged or lost articles.
Any
garment damaged beyond the normal wear and tear of washing/drying will be
reimbursed up to but not exceeding $50.
The maximum that will be reimbursed for an entire load of laundry will
be $150.
Customer
will make laundry available for pick-up at the agreed upon time. If Customer is unable to keep his agreement
for pick-up, Customer must notify Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service 3 hours
prior to pick-up time. If Customer fails
to notify 3 hours prior to the agreed upon pick-up time, Mama’s Mobile Laundry
Service will charge Customer a $35 No-Show Fee.
Customer is required to notify Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service by phone
when canceling a laundry pick-up.
Mama’s
Mobile Laundry Service reserves the right to determine the pick-up and drop-off
times at its own discretion and reserves the right to reschedule such times
upon prior notice to Customer.
All payments
are non-refundable.
Customer’s
total amount due will be paid prior to delivery, unless prior arrangements are
made with Lauren Hill. Customer will use
PayPal, cash or check to pay amount owed.
In the event of insufficient funds, Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service will
use all available legal methods to obtain the owed amount, including a debt
collection agency.
Disclaimer:
Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service’s liability
under this agreement shall be limited to general money damages in an amount not
to exceed the charges for the term of service paid by Customer in the term
under which the damages are alleged to have occurred. This liability shall be the
extent of Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service's liability regardless of the form in
which any legal or equitable action may be brought and the foregoing shall
constitute Customers exclusive remedy. In no event will Mama’s Mobile Laundry
Service be held liable or be responsible for any consequential, special,
indirect, incidental, or punitive loss or damages whether or not Mama’s Mobile
Laundry Service knew or should have known of the likelihood of any loss or
damages. Mama’s Mobile Laundry Service disclaims all warranties expressed or
implied with respect to the services rendered under this agreement.
Entire Agreement / Choice of Law:
This agreement and any documents referred
to herein constitute the complete, exclusive, and entire agreement between the
parties, may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties, and
shall be governed by the state of North Carolina in which it operates.
